We started out with a field trip to Amelia Island to see family.
It was a beautiful day and we were able to visit the nature center, as well.
It was full of God's amazing creatures and all the books I want!
This parrot can talk and dance a little, too.
Nanette came over and planted a shrimp plant for us.
We have to water it every other day.
I hope it does better than our lima bean seeds that liquefied in a week. Ack!
We used various charts to help our 3rd graders understand
converting between gallons, quarts, pints, and cups.
They even made their own gallon man to use when converting.
This just makes me laugh. Our daily math always has a word
problem for number 5. This time, they had to create their own.
Emma really got into this one, I would say!
March 2nd was Seuss Day and we thought it was fun
to wear our Thing 1 & 2 shirts to co-op.
Plants for nature study at co-op
It was a beautiful day for the park.
Can you see the large bird in the tree?
That's what all the kids are looking at.
Here's a close-up!
They were surprised by this plane because it flew so low over the park.
Emma's discoveries:
She shares my love for flowers
Have a great weekend, everyone and we will see you next week!
