Week In Photos ~ Week 33

This week included the National Day of Prayer, so we drove over to the church to have prayer at the alter. We prayed for lost family members, our churches, our country's leadership, and personal prayers.
We had a visitor this week

Our 6th grader started learning how to play using chord charts

Sometimes our Field Guide to the Bible includes photographs to give us an idea of what places looked like in the time of the early church. During the time of the Roman Empire, most citizens were very rich or very poor. The rich lived in homes with beautiful gardens, like the picture below. The poor lived in tiny apartments.

Shape poems turned out to be the hardest for us to write.
Here was one that we used as an example to study. So clever!
You guys, these chickens run out in front of us all the time lately.
Why did the chickens and roosters cross the road? To get to the other side. But, seriously,
where are they going? Why is it always when we are going past?
Note: No chickens or roosters were injured.
